Brian Studwell is the winner of our first photo contest. He recently graduated class of ‘09 from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He majored in English but took a good number of photo classes, including teaching a forum in digital photo. He got into photography in high school and has been going after it steadily since. He purchased his first DSLR Sophomore year of college, a Rebel XT, which he loves and abuses on a regular basis. He took the pig picture in Prague on a trip with his buddy Cam in August of 2007. It’s a sculpture sitting in the middle of one of the busiest commercial areas. Shops, shops, shops then… Boosh! Pig on a diving board. He scoped it and stood in the middle of the street taking pictures of it for a few minutes, with great result.
