Loren Carlile is a sixteen year old photographer born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She only recently discovered the beauty of the suburbs after picking up a camera. “I always thought my hometown was boring. It was after I realized that part of the fun was finding the beauty that I began to love where I live.” However, Loren still hopes to someday live in a country setting; somewhere with countless hills and beautiful backdrops. Loren plans on going to college and majoring in photography. Loren also enjoys acting, dancing, singing, and being someone who stands out from the crowd. “I try to do one thing everyday that’s different; that’s out of my element. I never want to get stuck in the stuck-up-Coppell-girl box like so many of the girls from Coppell, Texas have.” Her favorite thing to do? Dance in the streets at intersections. “How cliche is that, right? But it’s so much fun. I have not once been applauded, except by those who I’m with, and I’m okay with that. The whole idea is to not care whether you’re accepted.” And whether she’s pouring her every minute into her main passion- photography, or dancing in the streets, Loren is having an awesome time.
